Annual Events
Orientation
(August)
Con Mi MADRE welcomes students and their families at the beginning of the year. It is a chance to come together in community as we prepare for the school year ahead.
Balanced Living Conference
(February)
Con Mi MADRE hosts an annual conference that focuses on mental, physical, and financial health for both mothers & daughters.
Staff Development
(year-round)
We encourage our staff to continue in their professional development goals. We offer group trainings as a team while we foster a deeper sense of understanding the communities we serve.
College Trips
(Fall & Spring)
Our college trips offer participants the opportunity to visit a university twice a year, once per semester, where they can tour the campus and engage with on-campus representatives, providing them with valuable insights into college life.
Annual Corazón Awards
(April)
The Corazón Awards brings members of the community together to honor those making an impact in our community while raising money for our programming.
Somos el Futuro (December)
Somos el Futuro is our bilingual college and career fair. It is a time for our participants to learn about post-secondary institutions and career pathways for their future.
End of Year Celebration
(May)
Con Mi MADRE honors graduates from the 8th grade, high school, and college. Scholarships are awarded and we share a meal with our graduates and their families.
